DAMAGE & GARMENT CARE POLICY

All pieces from The Archive are carefully maintained and handled with care, including consigned garments entrusted to Lenté Archive. By renting or fitting any piece from The Archive, you agree to the following Damage & Garment Care Policy.

GARMENT RESPONSIBILITY

Clients are responsible for the condition of the piece from the time it is received until it is successfully returned to The Archive.

All garments must be handled with proper care throughout the rental or fitting period.

GARMENT CARE

Professional cleaning, steaming, and garment maintenance are handled exclusively by Lenté Archive.

Clients must not:

• wash the garment

Many pieces are made from delicate fabrics and may be permanently damaged by improper handling.

ALTERATIONS

Alterations are strictly prohibited.

Clients may not:

• cut fabric
• pin permanently
• resize garments

This policy helps preserve the condition of both Lenté Archive pieces and consigned garments.

Please avoid:

• forcing tight zippers
• excessive pulling or stretching
• exposure to sharp objects
• placing garments near food, drinks, oils, or makeup
• activities that may damage delicate fabrics

MINOR WEAR

Minor wear from normal use may be considered acceptable depending on the situation and condition assessment upon return.

the client may be charged up to the full replacement value of the piece.

LOST ITEMS

Clients remain fully responsible for the garment until it is successfully returned to The Archive.

Lost or unreturned pieces may result in full replacement charges.

EXISTING DAMAGE UPON RECEIPT

If you notice any issue with the garment upon receiving it, please contact our team within 12 hours and provide clear photos for assessment.

Failure to report existing damage within the allowed period may result in the client being held responsible for the condition upon return.

CONSIGNED PIECES

Many garments within The Archive are consigned by individual owners. Clients are expected to treat all pieces with respect and care throughout the rental period.
